The World Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) Organization presented a plaque to Seaboard Marine, yesterday, for its support and contributions in promoting security and economic prosperity throughout the Caribbean and the Americas. Suzanne Lemaitre, the Executive Director, was present at PortMiami, along with Fermin Cruz, Chairman of the WBO Board of Directors. Seaboard Marine was given the award as BASC officials, along with a large contingent from the American Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AMCHAM), were given a tour of Seaboard Marine’s PortMiami facility, where specific security measures and tools were highlighted.
Daniel O’Neil, Director of Security and Compliance for Seaboard Marine, said “We are fully committed to supply chain security throughout all of our locations, both in the U.S. and abroad. At Seaboard Marine, specifically at the PortMiami terminal, we adhere to highest standards of security and proudly accept this acknowledgement.”
