Seaboard Marine, along with Miami-Dade County officials and World Trade Center Miami, welcomed Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Miriam Sapiro to the Seaboard Marine terminal at PortMiami last week. Sapiro is responsible for trade negotiations and enforcement with Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

Ambassador Sapiro visited PortMiami to highlight the benefits of the newly implemented U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement.

Seaboard Marine Senior VP Jose Perez-Jones said, “We were proud to host Ambassador Sapiro as we loaded cargoes bound for Cartagena on the M/V Vega Scorpio. She was able to see first hand how U.S. exports to Colombia are growing to one of our most important trading partners.”
