Seaboard Marine is proud to support the Waterfront Alliance in its mission of increasing waterfront accessibility for all to create a well-adapted and resilient New York Harbor. The Waterfront Alliance began as a project of The Municipal Art Society of New York. It became an independent organization in 2007 when a group of leading activists, businesses, foundations, and civic organizations came together intending to make the New York and New Jersey harbor a shared, resilient, and accessible resource for all.

Every year, the Waterfront Alliance hosts Heroes of the Harbor, which serves as a fundraising event and opportunity to honor those who make a difference for the New York Harbor and waterfront. During the fundraising event, Seaboard Marine donated $5,000 to further their cause.

Angel Morrobel, VP of the Northeast and Canada, said, “Seaboard Marine is a firm believer in supporting organizations that are important to our customers, employees, and local communities. Anytime we can assist an organization seeking to improve the lives of communities where we work and live while helping one of our regional partners, Red Hook Container Terminals, represents a win-win for all concerned.”
