As part of our commitment to play an active, positive role in the communities where we live, work and do business, Seaboard Marine once again participated in the League Against Cancer’s (La Liga Contra El Cancer) annual fundraiser. Senior Account Representative, Frank Perez, appeared on a live television broadcast to present the League Against Cancer (La Liga Contra El Cancer) with a donation check. This is the third consecutive year Frank Perez has participated in the live broadcast and Seaboard Marine’s fourteenth year as a contributor.

Senior Vice President, Jose Perez-Jones, said, “Each year Seaboard Marine commits to supporting charities and organizations that take up causes to improve our quality of life. La Liga Contra El Cancer is an exemplary not-for-profit working to support those less fortunate and who suffer from cancer with medication, treatment and care.”

League Against Cancer is often the last resort for cancer victims who have no financial resources or health insurance. Since 1975, more than 50,000 low-income, uninsured men, women and children have received world-class medical treatment, screenings and support from the League Against Cancer. Needy patients receive high quality medical treatments at no cost to them.
