On December 19, 2015, Seaboard Marine attended the Christmas Treat event in Kingston for the City of Refuge Children’s Home’s children and their caregivers. Seaboard Marine’s Office in Jamaica donated clothes, toys, food, and toiletries to benefit disadvantaged children as well as giving a token of appreciation to each of the nine (9) caregivers.

The University of Technology’s ( UTech) Marketing Seminar, for the past six (6) years, has adopted The City of Refuge Children’s Home as their community outreach objective. The purpose of the event is to give the tertiary students an opportunity to embrace their social responsibility and claim their role in shaping a better Jamaica, as well as, to show love and care for children who are wards of the state.

“This year, instead of partaking in an office pixie and treating ourselves, we decided to come together to give back to our community. It was great team building experience for us, and we are more than happy to give back where we can” said Coreen Williams, Director of Sales and Marketing, Seaboard Marine Jamaica.
