Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers the Port of Houston Authority has lifted operating restrictions on Port of Houston marine terminals and our Jacintoport International LLC terminal resumed normal operations on August 31, 2017. Rail service in the area remains suspended.

At this time, the USCG has partially reopened a portion of the lower Houston ship channel to limited daylight vessel traffic. Vessel traffic in the portion of the Houston Ship Channel inward of Morgan’s Point, which includes the Jacinoport International Terminal, remains suspended due to severe currents and other hazards. The USCG is actively repairing navigational aids damaged during Hurricane Harvey and assessing the condition of the ship channel that remains restricted. Additional information is expected from the USCG on September 1, 2017.

As previously announced, Seaboard Marine’s vessel, the M.V. Constantin S – Voyage 20N, scheduled to call Jacintoport International Terminal on Thursday, August 31, 2017, diverted to New Orleans and has completed discharging its cargo. Cargo discharged from the M.V. Constantin S – Voyage 20N is now available in at New Orleans Terminal for disposition.

We will continue to pass along updates as information becomes available. Please contact your Seaboard Marine customer service representative if you have any questions.

We apologize in advance for any supply chain disruptions.
