For over 25 years, Seaboard Marine has held an annual toy drive at our Miami offices during the holiday season. This year, Seaboard Marine employees collected over 200 toys, which were donated to Holtz Children’s Hospital. Seaboard Marine employees, Tina Marrero and Mike Valdivia, personally delivered and gifted a portion of the donated toys to child patients in the Oncology Hematology, and Transplant unit.

Chris Concepcion, Marketing Manager, said, “Each year, our employees welcome the opportunity to bring joy to others less fortunate. It is wonderful to see their generosity having a positive impact on the families spending Christmas at Holtz Children’s Hospital.”

Since 1995, Seaboard Marine has selected Jackson Memorial as the beneficiary of its toy drive — providing Christmas gifts to hospitalized children across Jackson Health System’s South Florida locations, including the Holtz facility. The remaining donations not distributed to the aforementioned units are disbursed during Jackson’s Holiday Snow pile, which distributes presents collected from all over South Florida across the hospital’s robust network of health centers.

“We are very thankful to Seaboard Marine for their generosity during the holiday season. Their support over the years has provided our children and their families with much-needed holiday cheer,” said Flavia Llizo, Chief Development Officer of Jackson Health Foundation.
