Seaboard Marine today received 500 new 45’x102”-foot high-cube containers to better serve our valued customers. The newly acquired equipment, which was offloaded from a vessel this morning at PortMiami, will immediately join our fleet for use throughout the Seaboard Marine network with an emphasis on Central America and Hispaniola.

These new “extra-width” containers, which have a capacity of 3,270 cubic feet, exceed all ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for freight container door security applications. Singamas, a premier container manufacturer, fabricated all 500 last month.

“Seaboard Marine continues to honor our commitment to meet and exceed the needs of our customers. As we incorporate our new equipment we will both satisfy any increase in demand and phase out any equipment that does not meet our highest standards. It is our goal to provide our customers with modern and reliable equipment, which is why we continually upgrade our fleet,“ said Edward Gonzalez, Seaboard Marine President.
