Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Hurricane Ian as it approaches the coast of South Carolina.
Vessel operations have fully resumed at PortMiami as the U.S. Coast Guard has lifted all restrictions. Our PortMiami terminal is open for receiving and pick-up of containers. The main warehouse in Medley is open for receiving LCL cargoes. Dispatch functions such as receiving and delivering of containers to customers in South Florida are fully operating today; however, the Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) has discontinued rail service until tomorrow. The FEC ramps in Hialeah (Miami) and Jacksonville, though, are open.
The port of Savannah is currently under U.S. Coast Guard condition “Zulu.”
The safety of our staff, crews, vessels, and our customer’s cargo is of the utmost importance.
We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the 2022 Hurricane Season.
