Seaboard Marine would like to inform its valued customers of the status of our Montego Bay operations following the severe impact of Hurricane Melissa.
Our Montego Bay office and warehouse remain officially closed at this time due to ongoing restoration efforts in the area. However, the office will open on a limited basis when cargo discharged from our weekly vessel requires processing. Customers with shipments arriving in Montego Bay will be notified directly regarding available service hours and cargo release procedures.
The port in Montego Bay has reopened, and our weekly sailing has resumed.
Please note that the Montego Bay region of Jamaica continues to experience widespread power outages and limited connectivity. As a result, regular business operations and communications continue to be affected.
We encourage customers to check back periodically for further updates as conditions improve. Seaboard Marine is working closely with local authorities, port partners, and service providers to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
The Kingston office, marine terminal, and Kingston Wharves are open.
