Seaboard Marine would like to inform our valued customers that, due to continued volatility in global fuel markets and sustained increases in marine fuel prices, the Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) will be increased by $50 per TEU for dry containers and $80 per TEU for refrigerated containers, effective May 17, 2026.
The new levels will be as follows:
- $225 per TEU for dry containers
- $360 per TEU for refrigerated containers
This surcharge is intended solely to address fuel cost increases not otherwise covered under existing contract terms.
