Seaboard Marine would like to let you know that substantial volatility in global fuel markets has led to a sharp increase in marine fuel prices. To help manage these exceptional and unforeseen cost increases and maintain reliable service, a temporary Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) will be applied at $175 per TEU for dry containers and $280 per TEU for refrigerated containers. This surcharge is intended solely to address fuel cost increases not otherwise covered under existing contract terms.

The EFS will take effect on April 12, 2026, and will remain in place only as long as market conditions require. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will adjust or remove the surcharge as conditions stabilize.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued partnership. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Seaboard Marine representative.

Please note that changes requiring 30-day notice are published in the respective public tariff. This advisory shows some of these changes as a courtesy to our valued customers and in no way replaces the application of the public tariff.
