Seaboard Marine wishes to advise our valued customers that due to rising inland transportation costs, the Canadian Inland Recovery Charge (CIRC), applicable to all through intermodal Canadian rates, will be adjusted.
Effective May 3, 2026, the Canadian Inland Recovery Charge will apply to all shipments destined for Montreal and/or Toronto, Canada.
This charge is applicable to all service contracts and general tariff rates and applies to both dry and refrigerated equipment.
The new levels are as follows:
Cargo from Chilie, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru to Montreal and Toronto:
| 40 Foot Dry and Refrigerated Equipment | Previous Level | New Level | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Final Destination Montreal (Yard) | $1,000.00 | $1,500.00 | $500.00 |
| Final Destination Toronto (Yard) | $500.00 | $1,000.00 | $500.00 |
As always, we thank you for your continued support.
Please note that changes requiring 30-day notice are published in the respective public tariff. This advisory shows some of these changes as a courtesy to our valued customers, and in no way replaces the application of the public tariff.
