Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers of port congestion in Port Nola, New Orleans due to a vessel that ran aground near the mouth of the Mississippi River. The vessel has since been moved and the river partially reopened.
The M/V AS Patria Voyage 43 arrived at the New Orleans pilot station on January 5th, Saturday morning, as scheduled. However, due to a backlog of vessels awaiting berthing availability and channel closures due to dense fog, the M/V AS Patria Voyage 43 Northbound/44 Southbound was unable to berth and bypassed New Orleans resuming the regular southbound voyage.
As a result, cargo destined to New Orleans aboard the M/V AS Patria Voyage 43 Northbound, previously scheduled to arrive January 6, 2019, is now expected to arrive in New Orleans January 19, 2019, aboard the M/V Nordbaltic Voyage 7.
