Adjusted Inland Recovery Charge Effective October 7, 2018

To Our Valued Customers –

The United States inland transportation network continues to pose significant challenges to a shipper’s supply chain. The combination of U.S. government regulation and the sharp increase in demand for inland transportation continues to escalate the cost of providing inland services. Despite these challenges, Seaboard Marine remains committed to your inland transportation needs as your logistics service provider.

To continue to provide these U.S. inland services, Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its valued customers of our need to adjust the Inland Recovery Charge effective October 7, 2018. The adjusted Inland Recovery Charge (IRCH) is consistent with our announced regularly conducted internal reviews of the inland transportation costs as a component of our overall service. Not all of our inland transportation services warrant additional recovery; many inland rates may remain unchanged at this time. Our customers may access the IRCH charges through our website under the Rates & Tariff menu.

All tariff rates and service contracts will be updated to reflect this change effective October 7, 2018. Seaboard Marine will continue to provide advanced notice of any future change to the IRCH as warranted.

As always, we appreciate your continued support.
