Seaboard Marine is constantly searching for new and innovative methods to ensure complete customer satisfaction with its online tools. Seaboard Marine is proud to introduce its latest software solution which allows customers to view and manage cargo delivered to its LCL warehouse at 8001 NW 79th Avenue, Miami, FL. New features are available at, eServicenter.

Seaboard Marine maintains a nearly 135,000 square foot warehouse at its off-port Miami facility to efficiently handle customers' cargo, large and small. The 42-bay high ceiling facility is equipped with wireless infrastructure and radio frequency devices to quickly and efficiently receive and track cargo.

For several years, Seaboard Marine customers have been able to efficiently conduct on-line business such as searching sailing schedules, booking and tracing shipments, managing dispatch instructions, viewing information regarding current bills of lading, etc. Customers asked for additional on-line functionalities related to loose cargo (LCL) shipments and Seaboard has listened. New features allow customers to easily and accurately manage their LCL shipments and inventories by providing:

  • Real-time visibility to their LCL cargo.
  • Detailed information on dock receipts (i.e. Shipper and Consignee names, cargo description, piece count, weight and measurements).
  • Document management to electronically exchange important papers required for cargo shipment and clearance.
  • Electronic notifications of changes in cargo status.
