Honduran Inlands Increased Due to Government Decrees - Update Last Updated: January 24, 2012  
December 28, 2011 - As previously announced on December 22nd as a result of the decree issued by the Honduran Government on December 13, 2011 (published in La Gaceta, Diario Oficial De La Republica De Honduras # 32,693) establishing mandatory minimum rates for trucking services within Honduras.

December 21, 2011 - Seaboard Marine wishes to advise its customers who ship to/from Honduras that on December 13, 2011 the Honduran Government issued a decree (published in La Gaceta, Diario Oficial De La Republica De Honduras # 32,693) that establishes mandatory minimum rates for trucking services within Honduras.



Chassis No Longer Provided in Brooklyn and Port Newark Last Updated: December 19, 2011  
December 14, 2011 - Seaboard Marine will no longer provide chassis for cargoes imported or exported via Brooklyn, NY or Port Newark, NJ effective January 1, 2012. All motor carriers must provide chassis for these shipments. This change only impacts these two ports. It does not impact other locations in which Seaboard Marine provides chassis.
