C-TPAT: Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
Following the terrorists attacks on September 11th, 2001 the C-TPAT
initiative was introduced by U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection. This is a voluntary
agreement between U.S. Customs and the transportation industry. The program's goal
is to ensure security throughout the transportation chain. Seaboard Marine has been
a member of C-TPAT since December 2002.
