Our success in the region for over
30 years has enabled us to expand into new markets.
We now serve nearly forty ports in over twenty-five countries. Seaboard Marine’s
facilities include a private terminal of more than 80 acres at the Port
of Miami.
We carry more cargo to and from the Port of Miami than any other carrier. Although
this facility complies with and exceeds all governmental security mandates, it operates
seven days a week, 365 days a year-- a unique convenience for our customers. We
have deployed a system that integrates the use of over fifty cameras into an on-site
command center monitored 24-hours.
Although we continue to have more than seventy monthly sailings from Miami, Seaboard Marine has successfully initiated services
from other U.S. ports in recent years. We now offer weekly service to Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Trinidad,
Colombia and all of Central America from Houston. We also operate our own 62-acre
terminal in Houston called Jacintoport which has a similar state-of-the-art camera system as the
Port of Miami. We also proudly serve Central America weekly from New Orleans. We offer a reliable
weekly service to Haiti, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic from Brooklyn. Seaboard also provides weekly service to Colombia, Venezuela, Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican
Republic from Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Seaboard’s fleet of 40 vessels and nearly fifty-five thousand (55,000)
dry, reefer and specialized containers supports direct service between the
U.S. and major ports of call throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Our fixed-day
schedules make it convenient for customers to coordinate manufacturing schedules
and maintain inventories at cost-efficient levels.
Convenient schedules, outstanding customer service and an expanding fleet of ships
both commanded and managed by a company of dedicated professionals, has become the
trademark of Seaboard Marine.

Seaboard Marine provides each client with a high level of attention, constant
communication, expert knowledge and the drive to provide service that is unsurpassed.
These characteristics define our quest for quality. We focus on each customer individually
and strive to meet all of your ocean transportation needs. Please note that as a
C-TPAT validated operator, all of our cargo terminals have strict security and safety requirements
imposed by the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs, and other authorities. There are
many standard restrictions for truck drivers to enter these secure ports. For example, no additional passengers such as minors are allowed in our terminal
facilities. Click Here for Safety and Security Rules at our Port of Miami terminal.
Similar rules exist for other port facilities whether operated by Seaboard Marine
or third parties.
Our approach is to work in partnership with our customers, and provide the most
effective
level of service throughout the United States to/from Latin America. For over a
quarter of a century, Seaboard Marine has been a leader in the ocean transportation
industry. We’ve created our own advantage by incorporating state-of-the-art technology
and engineering into all of our operations such as advanced security features and
gate log systems at our terminal facilities. Further, our web-friendly E-servicenter allows our
customers to efficiently access a variety of secure and reliable online services.
