Following the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 the C-TPAT initiative was introduced by U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection. This is a voluntary agreement between U.S. Customs and the transportation industry. The program’s goal is to ensure security throughout the transportation chain. Seaboard Marine has been a certified member of C-TPAT since December 2002.

C-TPAT Frequently Asked Questions

If a company requires verification of Seaboard Marine’s C-TPAT status, that company will need to become an approved C-TPAT participant, which will then allow you to access the C-TPAT Status Verification Interface (SVI) to look up Seaboard’s status.
