Twenty Years in the Eastern Caribbean.
December 10, 2010
Although started in 1983, it was not until late 1990 that Seaboard Marine began regularly serving the Eastern Caribbean. During the last two decades, Seaboard Marine has expanded its coverage to many islands and has established itself as a service leader. Shippers and consignees alike throughout the Caribbean Basin have been supportive and appreciative of the reliable personalized service steadily provided by the Seaboard team.
More than a thousand voyages later, Caribseas, Seaboard Marine’s agent in Antigua since the very first sailing, graciously held a reception last week in St. John’s to celebrate this twenty-year milestone. Joining the celebration were Seaboard offices and customers from throughout the region.
Clarvis Joseph, Managing Director of Caribseas said, “We were delighted to host our customers and colleagues to celebrate our friendship and accomplishments.”
Edward Gonzalez, President of Seaboard Marine added, “Many of our customers have quietly supported Seaboard since ‘Day 1’. We value their loyalty. Likewise, many of our employees and offices throughout the Caribbean have been with us since 1990 and, as part of the Seaboard family, take great pride in providing reliable and quality service. We applaud their hard work and dedication.”
