Seaboard Initiates New Multi-Port Service from Belize

September 8, 2010. Starting this week, Seaboard Marine will be offering service to and from Belize via Miami, Houston and New Orleans as well as Cristobal, Panama and Puerto Limon, Costa Rica.

Jose Concepcion, Seaboard Marine Vice President – Central America Services, said, “Seaboard is excited to offer a variety of sailings to meet the needs of both importers and exporters. Our Belize customers will be able to utilize the Seaboard network throughout the Caribbean Basin. With northbound departures direct from Belize to Miami every Tuesday, we will be able to provide seamless service to a variety of destinations in the Caribbean and South America. Further, we will have a direct service to Belize, with fast transit times, from both Panama and Costa Rica.”

Seaboard will be able to provide both dry and refrigerated containers for southbound cargoes as well as for Belize fruit and vegetable exports such as papayas.
