Customer Applied Container Seals
October 23, 2007

Due to Bureau of Homeland Protection Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) guidelines, Seaboard Marine regrets that we can no longer supply line seals to our customers.

Effective October 29, 2007, we also can no longer accept containers from our U.S. and Canada customers that do not have a customer applied embossed numbered seal attached to the locking mechanism on the container. This means that we
cannot accept
containers where customers have applied pad locks in lieu of a seal. Our customers must use their own numbered embossed seal.

Seaboard Marine apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your understanding in this matter of mutual concern.
